Petestep® Hull Technology
The Swedish company Petestep® has developed a groundbreaking, patented hull technology that has redefined motor yacht design. Virtue incorporates this innovative technology into the hull of the V10 series, giving it a distinct advantage in performance and ride quality over the competition.
Petestep’s unique hull design utilizes strategically placed deflectors that manage the interaction between water spray and the boat. These deflectors redirect the energy of the spray downward and aft, effectively reducing water resistance by 10-30% while boosting acceleration by 20-50%. This design also minimizes water noise against the hull, ensuring a quieter and smoother experience.
Beyond performance, this technology enhances stability, lowers fuel consumption, and allows the yacht to handle choppy waters with ease. The result is a highly efficient, comfortable, and refined boating experience that sets new standards in the industry.
Concept & Highlights
The V10 is designed to maximize efficiency and convenience, fitting seamlessly into a 10x3 meter mooring—a common berth size in European marinas. This not only ensures easy docking but also brings significant cost savings compared to larger yachts exceeding 10 meters.
Functionality
With its sleek, TOP-bow center console layout, the V10 is built for both relaxation and activity. The spacious deck comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, offering an inviting atmosphere for socializing. At the bow, a double sunbed with integrated cup holders and speakers creates the perfect spot for unwinding, while the aft section features an adaptable seating area above cleverly designed storage compartments. This space can be configured as forward- or rear-facing benches with a central table or converted into a luxurious sunbed.
Thoughtfully designed upholstered elements serve as both armrests and drink holders, enhancing comfort. The yacht’s well-equipped wet bar—located between the helm and rear seating—features dual refrigerators, an electric grill, a sink, and a dedicated food preparation area. Below deck, a full cabin awaits, complete with a wide double bed, wardrobe, storage lockers, and a private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and wash basin. For added luxury, the electric drop-down platforms expand the yacht’s beam, creating a beach-club-like experience when anchored.
